NWC Entry Elevation.JPG

Upon entering this home you will be greeted by a see through fireplace finished in the same stone as the exterior of the home. The unique dining area to the immediate left of the entry includes a temperature regulated walk in bottled beverage storage area separated from the dining area with floor to ceiling glass. The great room includes state of the art audio / visual components accompanied by a bi-folding glass door that leads to the outdoor living area with an infinite edge water feature. The Master Bedroom Suite on the main level is designed with "Aging in place" in mind including a European curbless shower and additional inclusive features making this the perfect Farnsworth Forever Home.

Designed for personal friends some of the unique features of this home include a side-load garage eliminating the appearance of over bearing garage doors to the entry facade of the home. A mudroom / laundry with a clothes hamper accessible from the Master Suite. Having an Artist in the family meant designing a studio strategically located with windows on three sides providing natural light when desired. The outdoor living area at the rear of the home includes a 1/2 bath avoiding the need to use a bathroom inside. The owners insisted we design a separate structure to house their "A" class motor home plus a shop space with an adjacent tavern (yes, tavern) for an occasional refreshment break!

Designed for a "Historical District" the lot this home was built on was consistently being overlooked until we approached the property owners and proposed providing a design including this rendering illustrating the potential the property has. The lot sold soon after the listing included this rendering and the floor plan that was designed as a Farnsworth Forever Home which means the main level is mobility friendly that provides a variety of lifestyle options for the buyers.

Craftsman for a historical district

With Mediterranean being a favorite Architectural style of mine my level of inspiration was heightened!

The home is designed for a retired couple with single level living as the concept with this home. The main level is designed with the open floor plan concept in mind with the exception of the private vestibule that leads to the main level flex room (Featured in Oregon Home Magazine) and a beautiful Master Suite. The rear of the home was designed taking into consideration the spectacular view of Mt Hood which is one of Oregon's natural treasures. The land the home is built on has a significant slope to the rear providing the opportunity to include an additional bedroom suite, home office and a lower level 4-car garage which houses the owners precious collector automobiles.
